Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Get a good night's sleep. The school of thought about sleep patterns could be different for everyone. But going to bed only when you feel sleepy and waking up always at the set time each morning will eventually help your body to fall into a natural rhythm. You don't have to relate to how many hours of sleep you get each night. How rested you feel is what matters.
Step2
Be an early riser. Research shows that we always tend to be more productive during the early hours of a day. As Aristotle put it, "It is well to be up before daybreak, for such habits contribute to health, wealth and wisdom."
Step3
Keep your workout as the first accomplishment for the day. An energetic morning routine helps you stay active throughout the day to optimize time.
Step4
Eat a sensible diet. A fiber-rich morning breakfast helps you stay full and alert during the day. A lunch including fruits, vegetables, whole grain and nuts reduces the afternoon slumber.
Step5
Multi-task to add more hours to your clock. It is not the kind of multitasking deemed as irresponsible like driving and talking on the cell phone. Group your daily activities that wouldn't conflict your attention. For instance, do your laundry while catching up with a friend on the phone or walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes while reading a book.
Step6
Be organized. Having everything in its place helps you manage time better and reduces stress.
Step7
Delegate work in places that are appropriate. Try not to over schedule yourself when you could say no.
