How to Eat Cheaper in Vegas

In the past, it was a cinch to eat cheaply - if not for free - in Vegas. Desperate to get gamblers in, they lured customers in with cheap eats. These dining deals are fewer and further in between these days, but there are still ways to go easy on your wallet when it comes to eating in Vegas.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Eat buffet-style at Boulder Station, Palace Station, Sunset Station and Texas Stations. Most are away from the big city action, but these are big buffets with good food. Other buffets with low prices to try include Fiesta Rancho, Gold Coast and Orleans.
Step2
Enjoy the 99-cent shrimp cocktail at the Deli at Golden Gate, or a roast beef dinner at the 24-hour Gold Spike for less than $5.
Step3
Enjoy a sit-down dinner at Arizona Charlie's Decatur, Boulder Highway, Barbary Coast, California, El Cortez, Gold Rush or Nevada Palace.
Step4
Savor affordable drinks at Barbary Coast, Casino Royale, and Gold Spike.
Step5
Check with your hotel to learn about current deals at nearby venues.
Step6
Seek out visitor coupons in guides and brochures found in your hotel room.
