If you are hosting a Tupperware party, you should look fashionable yet be comfortable. Depending on the weather, time of year and location of the event, you have a variety of different options on how to dress for your Tupperware party. Dress for style and comfort as you may have to run around setting up, serving guests and cleaning up.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Dress casual, yet neat. Do not wear sweatpants, pajamas or sloppy clothing. Jeans and a blouse or a nice pantsuit are appropriate for a daytime Tupperware party in your own home.

  2. Step 2

Choose fabrics and styles according to the season. Wool and thick knits are good for fall and winter, while cotton, silk, rayon and fine knits are terrific for spring and summer.

  3. Step 3

Wear a sundress or dress shorts, if you are hosting the party outside. If your Tupperware party is going to be outdoors on your deck or patio during the summer or spring, wear cool, casual clothing that still looks chic.

  4. Step 4

Choose business attire if the party is being hosted a your office. Many people have Tupperware parties in their company breakroom. If this is the case, wear whatever clothes you normally would wear to work.

  5. Step 5

Wear a cocktail dress or a dressy pantsuit if the party is going to be in your home during the evening. Look good, but do not wear extremely high heels, low cut tops or uncomfortable clothing. Remember that you may be running around serving food and drinks, or assisting the Tupperware consultant, so dress appropriately.

  6. Step 6

Add basic jewelry such as a necklace and earrings. Avoid wearing bracelets, which can become unclasped or slip off during parties.

  7. Step 7

Keep your makeup simple. Clean makeup such as a light lipstick and mascara are enough for a Tupperware party. If your party is in the evening, your makeup can be a little more dramatic, but remember you will likely be in a well-lit area for the party.

on 12/9/2007 As a Tupperware Business Owner, I'd have to disagree. The best parties are the ones where everyone is relaxed and comfortable. Most of my host and hostesses wear whatever they're in, usually jeans and a top. Besides, to get the most out of your hostess benefits, 2 of your friends needs to book a party off of yours, and if it looks like you went to a LOT of trouble, they just won't. Keep it casual, keep it fun, and let your Consultant worry about the rest!
