A rave party is all about the music! When you are sending out ecards for a rave, then music would be an important accessory to add to your special egreeting. If you are hosting a rave, then there's s a possibility that most of your friends probably have access to a computer or have a personal email address. Sending an ecard would be an easy and affordable way to get the word out about your happening party.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Notebook
  • Pencil
  • Computer
  • Access to the Internet
  1. Step 1

Sign up for a personal email account. Instead of using your own personal email address, do something fun and create an account called "theraveoftheyear," or partytime2007. Think of something creative to catch your guest's attention.

  2. Step 2

Decide on whom you are inviting to your rave. If you are inviting groups such as sororities or fraternities, find out if they have 1 email address. Collect all of the email addresses of the people and groups that you wish to invite.

  3. Step 3

Find an ecard website that suits your needs. Once you find your selected website, look under categories like invitations and special occasions to select the card of your choice.

  4. Step 4

Click on the ecard that appeals to you. If you are hosting a rave, find cards that are brightly colored or have musical backgrounds to catch your invite's attention. Click the "personalize button" to design your card. Type the party details into the greeting area. Include the place where rave will be hosted, the time, and the date everybody needs to RSVP by.

  5. Step 5

Type in the email addresses of each guest that you plan on inviting into the "To" field.

  6. Step 6

Type return email address into the "From" field.

  7. Step 7

Choose which date that you would like to send your greeting. Decide if you want to send it that day or at a later date. Then click the "send date."

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep track of each person and group that you send an egreeting to so that you won't send multiple invitations.
  • When one of your invites RSVP's, write down their name or the group so that you can keep a running number of who is coming to your rave.
  • Email your greeting at least 2 weeks before the big party. This way everybody can plan his or her schedules accordingly.
  • If it is a rave, make sure you send it to ONLY the people you want to invite. Make sure your invitation doesn't get sent to someone that you wouldn't like to have at your rave. Be sure to have everybody's correct email addresses.
