4. Arrange transportation before you go. Many times, rave venues are in distant or isolated locations, so ensuring that you have a ride home from the party is very important.
5. Dress the part with colorful clothes and glow sticks. A rave is a modern carnival where people use edgy clothes and flashy accessories to express themselves. Although you certainly don't have to dress a certain way, it might help you get into the party mood.
