Study the Group of Seven's works. These 7 men, Lawren Harris, J.E.H. MacDonald, Arthur Lismer, Frederick Varley, Frank Johnston, Franklin Carmichael and A.Y. Jackson, decided to exhibit their works together in 1920 in Toronto. Their paintings offer detailed looks into Canadian wilderness and landscapes. The men wanted to record the Canadian beauty in a particular style. The Group of Seven soon became 10 and then more artists were asked to join.
