Step 1
Ask the court or government office that ordered you to attend traffic school. Oftentimes, they will have a list of traffic schools in your area. They can usually either fax the information to you, or just give you a list of phone numbers.
-
Step 2
Look in your local yellow pages for the section on traffic schools. There should be a number of listings in your area. Find one close to you, and call to see if they have an opening and how much they charge. Call around to find the best deal.
-
Step 3
Take an online traffic school course at Trafficschool.com instead of going to a traditional traffic school. Verify that the course will give you credit in your state. With online traffic schools, you don't have to leave your house, and this is usually the cheapest option.
-
Step 4
Make a decision, and promptly register for classes. There is usually a time limit for when you are to have completed traffic school. If you go beyond that point, you can be assessed additional fines and penalties.
-
Step 5
Get a certificate or other paperwork that verifies you have completed traffic school. File the certificate with the court to prove you have attended traffic school, so that your record can be noted accordingly.
