Making your own refrigerator magnets is a fun way to add personality to your fridge. With just a few simple steps and easy to find craft items, you can quickly dress up your kitchen's biggest appliance.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Purchase magnet material. There are many choices available at Craft and other retail stores for making your own magnets. Depending on your project, you can use magnetic printer paper, adhesive magnet paper or plain magnets. Magnetic printing paper is used just like regular printing paper and can be used with any printer.

Step2
Gather your craft supplies. As long as it isn't too heavy, there are no limits to what type of magnet you can make for the refrigerator. Children's artwork, photos, clipart or business cards are all great choices. Make your own design using craft items like yarn, macaroni noodles or fabric.
Step3
Construct your magnet by printing your online photos or artwork onto the magnet paper or using the adhesive magnet paper to attach your designs. Magnet paper is easily cut with scissors or a paper cutter so you can design just about any shape to enhance your fridge. Craft supplies should be attached to regular magnets with hot glue.

Step4
Allow the glue, adhesive or ink to dry completely and then place your magnet on the fridge or any other metal surface.
