How to Become a Mary Kay Consultant

Whether you are looking for a part-time or full-time work at home opportunity, becoming a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant is easy. Follow these steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Talk to your current Mary Kay consultant or do a consultant search on marykay.com to find an Independent Beauty Consultant who will explain the opportunity to you.

    • 2

You don't need to live in the same area as the consultant who you sign up under. Mary Kay has an adoptive program so that no matter where you live in the United States, you will have access to a mentor and training.

    • 3

Ask the Mary Kay consultant or director for information about the company and have them explain the different ways you can make money.

    • 4

Sign the Independent Beauty Consultant agreement either as a paper form or as an online document that the company can email to you.

    • 5

Pay $100 plus shipping and handling to receive your starter kit with over $300 in products, a training DVD and reference materials to get you started.

    • 6

Attend your director's success meeting for training and meet other consultants who can serve as mentors.

In response to yazzylovesrufus: Yes you can sell Mary Kay products from a company-designed website. The customers can purchase from the website and the order is forwarded to your email address. It is very easy! The company does all of the designing and you reap the benefits! HOWEVER...the money is definitely in the parties. Customers are actually able to see the products and feel the results. Makes the sales much higher per customer. Just depends on how much money that you want to make.

Pretty much everything here is what was said on the mary kay website. I want to know if I can just sell online or if I really need to have parties.
