1
Choose a neutral brown eye shadow based on your skin tone, a shimmer silver eye shadow, and a colorful eye shadow.
-
2
Work in a well lit area with a mirror positioned so that you can look straight ahead into it.
-
-
3
Place the eye shadow brush in the silver shadow, tap off excess and apply from the inside corner of your eyelid to the outside corner of your eyelid from your lash line only up to your natural crease line. The light color and the shimmer will help this section of your eye look brighter.
-
4
Rub the eye shadow brush in the neutral brown eye shadow, tap off excess, and apply from a quarter of the way out from the inside corner of your eye to the outside corner of your eyelid, only above the crease up to your eye brow.
-
5
Switch to the eye shadow sponge and rub on a small amount of the color eye shadow onto it. Tap off the excess and apply a crescent shaped line from the eye brow to the lash line on the outside corner of each eye.
-
6
Use the clean side of the eye shadow sponge to blend the colors. Without adding any eye shadow, place the sponge in the inside corner of your eyelid and pull it out in straight horizontal lines repeatedly along the lash line all the way up to directly under your eye brow. This allows the colors to flow into each other naturally.
-
7
Brush any stray eye shadow that is near your temple away with your finger in an upward and outward direction.

Tips & Warnings
You can always apply more eye shadow to make the color more dramatic, but once you have applied too much color it is hard to fix.
Make eye contact with people. When you have deep set eyes and are not making eye contact, your eyes will look even more deep set.
Play with different colors, but be sure to keep the lightest color on the bottom, a neutral on top and the accent color on the outside.
This technique for deep set eyes requires a bit of practice, make sure to give yourself plenty of time to perfect the look.
