How to Make a Button Picture Frame

- Wood or cardboard picture frame
- Buttons
- Glue gun or glue
- Craft paint and brush
- Clear gloss spray enamel, if desired

Buy a cardboard or wooden craft picture frame at your local craft store.

Choose a package with a variety of colorful buttons; enough to cover picture frame.

Choose one small bottle of craft paint in a bright, cheery color. Red, purple, blue or green work well.

Paint the picture frame and let it dry thoroughly. Apply a second coat of paint and let this dry completely as well.

Apply buttons to the painted frame with a glue gun. Glue them on in a random fashion, using a variety of colors and spacing them however you like.

Spray with a clear gloss enamel if you prefer a shiny look. This can be done before or after the buttons are glued on, but you don't need it to complete the project.
