Your pregnancy should be one of the happiest times in your life; but it's hard to be happy and glowing when you feel like nothing fits or looks good on you. Follow these steps to choose maternity jeans that will enhance your comfort while making you look stylish.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Know that one pair of jeans is not going to fit you the entire pregnancy. Your body is changing shape and sizes along with your belly. Unless you want to wear baggy sweatpants, you will need to buy a few different sizes as you grow.

  2. Step 2

Find a style that you like. Maternity jeans are now more fashionable than they used to be. You can find maternity jeans that are dark, light, vintage, stretch, boot cut, wide leg, Capri and almost any other style you may like.

  3. Step 3

Try on different types of maternity jeans. Maternity jeans come in a variety of styles. You may find that the jeans that fit below your belly are more comfortable than the type that sits above your belly. Try them on to find the right fit for you.

  4. Step 4

Shop around for good deals. You will only be wearing these jeans for a few months at the most so you shouldn't spend a lot of money on them. Look through sales racks, garage sales, consignment shops and online for good deals.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always try on maternity jeans for the first few times so you can find the right style for you. If you want to order jeans online, try to find similar jeans in a store so you can try them on to find the right style and size.
