These quick and easy cat treats can be made with items you probably already have in your pantry and even the finickiest feline is sure to enjoy them.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Baking sheet
  • 1 8-ounce can of tuna in oil
  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  1. Step 1

Gather the ingredients you'll need and preheat your oven to 350-degrees.

  2. Step 2

Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Knead lightly until it forms a thick dough.

  3. Step 3

Roll out the dough on a large, floured surface to ΒΌ-inch thickness. Use a sharp knife or cookie cutter to cut the dough into small shapes. Many pet or specialty stores carry cookie cutters just for pets. You can adjust the size of the treat based on your cat's size and needs.

  4. Step 4

Place the cut treats on a greased baking pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

  5. Step 5

Cool the cat treats to room temperature and store them in an air tight container or bag for future use.
