How to Use a FASTPASS at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida has found a way for visitors to spend more time enjoying the park's many attractions and less time standing in line. Anyone can get a free FASTPASS and it's available for many of the most popular rides.

- Moderate
Instructions

-
1
Check the park map to see which attractions offer FASTPASS.
-
2
Have a plan. Make a mental or physical priority list of attractions. Always check the posted return time at the FASTPASS kiosk before receiving a FASTPASS to verify it fits in with your current itinerary.
-
3
Get FASTPASSes early. FASTPASSes are not unlimited, so the busiest attractions may run out of FASTPASSes. Attractions that may run out of FASTPASSes include Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom, Rock N Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror at MGM, Test Track and Soarin' at Epcot, and Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom.
-
4
Find the FASTPASS kiosk at the desired attraction. The FASTPASS kiosks are at the entrance to the attraction and should be easy to spot.
-
5
Insert your admission ticket into the FASTPASS machine. The machine will print a FASTPASS with a specific return time.
-
6
Look at the FASTPASS printout to ensure it is actually a FASTPASS. If a customer is not allowed another FASTPASS yet, the machine will still print out a slip that looks like a FASTPASS but instead says that the customer is ineligible for the pass. This slip can be easily confused with a FASTPASS.
-
7
Return to the attraction during the assigned timeframe printed on the FASTPASS. Enter at the FASTPASS line instead of the standard line. It will be the shorter line and you can expect to wait 10 minutes or less.

Tips & Warnings
Know the return time for the attraction and plan accordingly. Don't get caught waiting in a line and miss the time window for the FASTPASS attraction or you will have to wait in the standard line.
Use the saved time from FASTPASSes wisely. While waiting for the return time of a FASTPASS, customers can visit other attractions. This is also a great time to get snacks or meals.
Do not lose the park's admission ticket. You need it to get a FASTPASS.
Even if someone does not intend on riding or participating in an attraction, they still need a FASTPASS to walk with the rest of their party through the queue or pre-show.
There are limitations on how many FASTPASSes can be issued to a customer at a time. Always check the time on the FASTPASS slip for when the next FASTPASS can be issued.
