How to Unblock Myspace

Myspace is a website that is very popular for people to place their blogs and a way to communicate with friends and others in one place. People place their likes, dislikes, and feelings on their Myspace sites. Many educational institutions have blocked this site from students and staff because of sharing problems, viruses, and online predators.

Instructions

1. Check the sites that are blocked on your local computer. Open Internet Explorer, select "Tools", "Internet Options". Click the "Security" tab and choose "Restricted Sites". The "Sites" button will become available. Be sure that Myspace is not listed, if it is highlight and delete it.

2. Lower the settings for your Internet security. This is not recommended for long periods of use, as this is how viruses and copycat programs infiltrate computers.

3. Install a filter removing program. Many of these programs bypass the filter that is stopping you from accessing Myspace.com. Installing and using these programs may get you in serious trouble with your school or employer.

4. Use a dummy proxy to bypass a block of the Myspace.com site. There are several of these listed on the Web.

5. Link to one of the free proxy servers and link to Myspace.com from this new site. The idea is to go through the proxy to the blocked site without the site address in the address bar. This process can get you into serious trouble too.
