Step 1
Go to Royal Ascot. This is the biggest event at the race course and the one of most prestigious on the sporting calendar. It lasts five days, between 19th and 23rd of June, and each day has something different, including Ladies day and the prestigious Gold cup.

Have a family day out. Ascot offers days for the family on the 30th of July, 12th of August, 24th of September and 16th of December.

Book your tickets. These can be booked online at the link below. There are separate prices for premier and general admission. Royal Ascot also sells ticket for the Royal enclosure.

Make sure you have the appropriate clothes. A day horse-racing at a normal meet at Ascot requires men to wear suits only for the premier admission. However suits for men and dresses for women are required at Royal Ascot in all enclosures.

Get to Ascot by car. The racecourse is accessible from all directions via the M3, M4, M40 and M25 motorways.

Book a parking space. Events at the racecourse such as the Royal Ascot are huge and it is advisable to book a parking space beforehand. A space can booked for as much £15 for Royal Ascot and as little as £5 for other events.

Go to Ascot by train. A frequent service to Ascot runs from London Waterloo and Reading stations. The racecourse is a 10 minute walk from the train station.
