Pop Warner Football is one of the most formative experiences for millions of children in the United States. Register for Pop Warner Football

1. Determine the appropriate age and weight division of Pop Warner for your child. The tackle football section of Pop Warner has divisions ranging from Tiny-Mite to Bantam. The Pop Warner website features a simple chart to help you find the right division for your child (see Resources below).

2. Find out from your local league organizer when registration forms are due and when team selection takes place. The league organizer will usually distribute contact information at local schools and public areas like malls where a high volume of kids can be reached.

3. Bring children participating in Pop Warner to their physician before the season starts. Due to insurance reasons, Pop Warner leagues need to be assured by parents that participants do not have allergies or diseases that may be exacerbated by high amounts of activity.

4. Acclimate your child to Pop Warner football by bringing a group of their friends to sign-up. While the entire group may not make it on the same team, getting kids through the initial steps of sign-up with people they know helps them develop a comfort zone.
