1. Remember the reason for the celebration. Confirmation isn't just a reason to party; it's a deep and meaningful occasion. Select party supplies that reflect spiritual growth and maturity.
2. Know the age range of your guests. Small children may need games or videos to keep them amused.

• You could have separate "adults" and "kids" sections of the party, where both groups do different things that wouldn't appeal to the other. For instance, kids can watch Disney movies, while the adults discuss sports and politics.
• Know your budget. You could go all out in planning and decorating the party, buying a lot of expensive food, decorations and party favors, but know that you don't have to. A party can be planned cheaply and simply and still be lots of fun, with just a little creativity and imagination.
