Barbies are fun, but it's the amazing accessories that make this doll such a time-tested favorite. What could be more fun than a pink Jeep? There are various types of Barbie Jeeps and several places to buy them.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

    Select a Barbie Jeep

  1. Step 1

Understand that the most popular Barbie Jeep right now is a motorized Jeep. The child can drive herself and a passenger through the house or about the yard.

  2. Step 2

Choose the Barbie Kelly Seahorse Playset Featuring Jeep Wrangler for children that you do not feel are ready for a "get inside" type of Barbie Jeep. This playset features a Jeep that fits Barbie dolls.

  3. Step 3

Select a radio-controlled Barbie Jeep toy as another alternative to a pricy full-sized motorized Jeep.

  4. Step 4

Select a used Barbie toy Jeep if you want to save money or don't need a new full-sized Jeep. Auctions sites such as eBay often sell used toys (see Resources below). The Fisher Price Power Wheels Barbie Cruisin' Tunes Jeep is a sturdy motorized Barbie Jeep that is sometimes available from private sellers.

  5. Step 5

Choose the Barbie Jammin' Jeep Wrangler for children that love listening to music. This Barbie Jeep features a real radio and ten songs on a simulated CD player that actually play. This is a full-sized motorized Jeep.

  6. Step 6

Select a Barbie toy accessory jeep instead of a full-size motorized Jeep for a child who still loves Barbies but is too old to ride in one of the motorized ones.

Tips & Warnings
  • Supplies of new Barbie motorized Jeeps can run out quickly during holiday periods. Plan ahead to purchase one early.
  • Comparison shop for price at several retailers. Motorized Barbie Jeeps are not inexpensive. You can use a shopping engine like Shopping.com to do some price comparisons online (see Resources below).
  • Motorized Barbie Jeeps can need new tires and even electrical maintenance. Ask your local toy retailer what the upkeep on this toy can cost.
  • Barbie motorized Jeeps operate on batteries that require periodic recharging.
  • These Jeeps are not recommended for children under the age of three. Children over the age of eight are also likely to be too big to fit in the Jeeps.
