In this article you will learn how to make an easy iced fruit tea that will please the sweetest tooth!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 4 family sized tea bags
  • one orange
  • one lemon
  • 4-5 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 Cup frozen orange juice concentrate
  • LOTS OF WATER!!!
Step1
When making a good fruit tea you'll first need to pick a good tea base. Decide on 4 family sized tea bags and steep them in boiling water for 20 to 30 minutes. (No longer than this or the tea will become bitter.)
Step2
The next step is to remove the tea bags and add your sugar. Go ahead and add 4 cups. If you have a really sweet tooth as I do, add the 5th cup :-) Stir the sugar until it has dissolved into the warm tea.
Step3
Next is adding all the fruit flavors into the mix. Squeeze in the juice of one orange and one lemon. Be sure to stir these items to combine the flavors. The final item is the frozen juice. You'll add 1/2 Cup of frozen orange juice concentrate to the mix and stir.
Step4
The last step is to add water to dilute the tea. Now this is something that has to be done to taste. Generally this batch of tea is made to serve a large group so I recommend about 2 gallons of cold water added to the mix. Stir, chill, and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

  • Always add the sugar before any other item. You need the sugar to be added while it's still warm so it will dissolve.
