Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
-
some type of wood glue (elmers wood glue, gorilla glue, yellow carpenters glue to name a few)
-
it the material is something other than wood, check at your local hardware store for types of glues that work with certain materials
-
vice grips to hold together the bed posts if completely detached or tape
Step1
bed posts
Step1: Make sure the area is clean of dust. This will help the glue stick to the surface rather than the dust. If you do clean the area allow time for it to dry before applying the glue to the surface.
Step2
Step2: Once the area has been cleaned and dried, apply the glue to both sides of the bed posts. For example, if the post is completely detached put glue on the post and also the knob. Once glue has been applied, then you can put the two ends together. You can use vice grips to hold these together as the glue dries, or you can tape them to hold them.
Step3
Step3: Once the glue has completely dried, you can use a damp rag to remove the excess glue. If it doesn't come off with a wet rag, then you can gently chip away the excess glue if any oozed out while drying.
