Google is more than just a search engine. Follow these steps to use Google as a phonebook to find addresses and phone numbers of individuals and businesses.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet Connection
  • Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari)

How to Use Google to as a Phonebook

Step1
Connect to the Internet.
Step2
Start your Internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari.
Step3
Go to www.google.com.
Step4
Type in a first name, last name and zip code or city/state.
Step5
Click the "Google Search" button.

Tips & Warnings

  • Click on the map link next to the phonebook entry to get directions.
  • Not everyone is listed in the Google Phonebook.
  • You can request to be removed by clicking on your own entry and clicking on the “Request to have your name removed from the list” and filling out the required forms.
