How to make quick money on runescape

The following article is how you can easily make 30-35k in about 30 minutes. It is not against any runescape rules so you will not get in trouble for this.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Runescape account
• A mining picaxe of any metal
• Have completed the rune mysteries quest
• About 30 minutes

1. The first step is completing the Rune Mysteries quest. It is incredibly easy as you have to do nothing than other walk back and forth from Varrock and southwest of Lumbridge. You must also have a pickaxe(it doesn't matter which metal).

2. Travel to Varrock and put all clothes, armour, weapons, and items in the bank for light weight. Take out the highest level pickaxe you can wield.

3. Walk to the aubury just south of the east bank in Varrock. Click on him and choose teleport. He will teleport you to the essence mines and you will begin to mine the essence.

4. After your inventory is complete, step into the portal and teleport back to Varrock. Walk to the east bank and insert all of your essence into the bank.

5. Repeat this until you have at least 1k (1,000) essence. Take it out of the bank in a note by clicking note at the right bottom corner of the bank withdrawal/deposit area. You should sell the essence for about 30-35 gp each. So if you have 1k essence, that should be 30-35k.

Tips & Warnings

• Remember price ranges change all of the time.
• Be patient and keep mining if you don't find a buyer right away. Some people will try to best you and buy for only 20 gp each. Don't succumb to them, be consistent with your prices.
• You might not find a buyer and the price range changes all the time.
• If you are a member, you can mine pure essence in a member world, this sells for 40 gp each.
• Only sell pure essence in a free server, it will give you maximum profit.

on 10/8/2007 nice guide, but noticed a few errors.

1. If you a combat level lower than 6 you should have the wizard in the basement of the wizard tower teleport you to the rune ess mine and use lumbridge bank, to avoid being killed buy the mugger in varrock.

2. If you a member and you mining level is at least 30 you will automaticly mine pure essnece. pure essence sells for 100 each on average, and as high as 120 each in bulk of 10k or more. I have never seen pure ess sell for less than 70 each and price has gone back up to 100 - 110 each do to the high demand for pure essence used in the new zmi alter.

3. rune essence sells in varrock east bank for 20 - 30 each, and sometimes 35 each. prices on rune essense were higher but may drop since the shop update, and the decrease in the price of air runes.

4. The best time to sell pure ess, or rune ess is when runescape is the most crowded.
