Instructions
-
-
1
Color a simple rainbow with colored pencils onto a scrap of paper, letting the colors touch but not overlap.
-
2
Rub the blending pen over the colors, blending two colors at a time.
-
-
3
Rubber stamp an image onto the scrap paper, letting the ink dry thoroughly.
-
4
Dip the blending pen into a chalk palette and rub until the pen tip is saturated with color.
-
5
Begin drawing with the blending pen within the rubber stamped image outline, starting at one end of the image and zigzagging to the other side. This draws the color from a deep saturation to a lighter shade.
-
6
Draw a simple heart onto a scrapbook page using a black pen. Let the ink dry thoroughly.
-
7
Press the lid of an ink pad firmly into the pad, which allows a small amount of ink to adhere to the ink pad lid.
-
8
Rub the blending pen into the excess ink in the lid, picking up the color.
-
9
Color in the heart, rubbing in a circular motion, concentrating the color in the center of the heart. Do not touch the black ink border or it might bleed.
