How to Add Pictures and Sound into Movie Maker
Microsoft Movie Maker is a great tool for editing digital video; however, it can also be an easy way to share your digital photographs. When accompanied by the right musical selection, you can create an exciting and interesting video that your viewers will not forget. Follow these steps to learn how.

Download the digital pictures you anticipate using in your movie production to your computer.

Open Microsoft Movie Maker.

Click "Import Pictures" under the "Capture Video" section. Then, navigate to the folder where your pictures are located. Select one or more pictures and click "Import."

Drag the picture or pictures from your collect to the timeline or storyboard video track that is located at the bottom of the screen.

Click "Import audio or music" under the "Capture Video" section. Navigate to the folder where your audio files are located. Select one or more audio files and click "Import."

Click "Show timeline" so that you are in the timeline view. Drag your audio segment or music to the "Audio/Music" track located at the bottom of the screen.

Move or adjust the length of your digital photos and audio tracks as you would your video segments.

Tips & Warnings
There are many sites available on the Internet where you can find music with open copyright provisions or music that is royalty free. Good search terms include "royalty free music" or "copyright free music."
Downloaded music may contain copy protection (DRM) that will not allow you to import it into Movie Maker. Check the copyright provisions of the music you plan to use.
