How to Make a Ghost Photo
Is it possible to photograph a ghost? Unfortunately, photographs, especially those from digital cameras, are so easy to fake, it's impossible to conclusively prove that a ghost photo is real. However, taking a fake ghost photo is a fun project for those with an interest in photography.

1
Scout a location you want to haunt. An old house or small graveyard are good choices.
-
2
Go to your location at dusk, set your camera on a tripod and frame your photo.
-
-
3
Set the camera for a 10-second exposure.
-
4
Ask a friend to be the ghost. He or she should wear an appropriate costume, such as vintage clothing or a dark suit a person might be buried in. Place your friend in the frame and choose an interesting pose.
-
5
Open the shutter and count off three seconds. After three seconds, your friend should run out of the frame. Allow the shutter to close.
-
6
Repeat this process as long as the light allows, placing your friend in different locations and in different poses. Have fun.
-
7
Develop your film. You will see the scenes you photographed with a transparent figures--your friend, the ghost.
