      Meet the criteria to register to vote in Connecticut. You can register at 17, but you cannot vote until you turn 18. You must also be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Connecticut. Plus, you cannot be a convicted felon serving time or on parole and not currently judged mentally incompetent by a court of law.
