You don't have to go to the spa to get a perfect pedicure. You can get one in the comfort of your own home. After following these simple steps, your feet will be ready for summer sandals. You will save money by doing it at home and still get the same great results.

Things You'll Need:

  • Foot bath
  • Essential oils
  • Pumice stone
  • Bath salt
  • Cuticle cream
  • Orange stick
  • Nail clipper
  • Nail file
  • Polish
  1. Step 1

    Soak your feet in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes either in a foot bath or the bathtub. Adding essential oils in your favorite scent will relax you and soften your feet. You can also soften your feet with a bath bead in warm water.

  2. Step 2

    Scrub your feet with a bath salt to slough away dead skin cells. Massage the bath salt into your feet and rinse.

  3. Step 3

    Use a pumice stone to soften rough spots and reduce calluses.

  4. Step 4

    Apply a cuticle cream to soften your cuticles. Use an orange stick to gently push your cuticles back.

  5. Step 5

    Rub on a foot cream or lotion to your feet and calves. Spend some time massaging your feet and calves.

  6. Step 6

    Clip your toe nails straight across to avoid ingrown nails. Use a file to smooth the edges.
