It happens every June. Tragically, millions of people around the world are suddenly left without their basketball fix and suffer from NBA Season Withdrawal. After intensely following the NBA for 8 months right to the championship series, it all ends. But there are ways to fill the gaping maw left by the end of the NBA season and avoid the suffering that accompanies NBA Season Withdrawal.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Immerse yourself in the NBA Draft. Fortunately you don't have to wait long after the conclusion of the NBA Finals to focus on the NBA Draft which will be held on June 28, 2007. Surf the Web and read the boards for updates on the hot prospects entering the draft this year. Some hot sites are NBAdraft.net and Draftexpress.com.
Step2
Catch a WNBA game. It's no coincidence that the NBA, which also owns the WNBA, starts the WNBA season in May. By the time things get serious in the WNBA in mid-summer, television coverage on ABC and ESPN kicks into high gear with at least two games per week. Learn all about your WNBA team and their shot at a championship at WNBA.com.
Step3
Follow the USBL. The United States Basketball League, a minor professional league, runs through late June with playoffs concluding in July. Learn more about this league at their official site, USBL.com.
Step4
Get outside! Play some pickup basketball and challenge your neighbor to a game of H-O-R-S-E. There is life after the NBA and the fresh air just may help clear your head as you ponder your team's prospects for the upcoming season.
