How to Get a Study Guide for the SSAT

Making the most of study time when preparing for the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is important to everyone taking the test. You want to get a high score and study in the most efficient way possible. The best way to do this is to obtain a study guide from a local testing facility. Read on to learn how to get a study guide for the SSAT.

1. Navigate to the SSAT website. On the left side of the page is a listing of all the areas you could possibly need.
2. Click on “Order Study Guide.” This is located under the heading of “Preparing for the Test.” Once you do this, another frame will appear on the right side of the page with the heading “Preparing and Applying for Independent School Admission and the SSAT.”
3. Click on “Order Study Guide Online” to order the packet called “Preparing and Applying.” Alternatively, you could download and print the order form and fax or mail it to SSAT. This packet includes two of each grade level full-length practice tests, scoring instructions, explanations, descriptions and exercises for each type of question and advice for using your study time wisely.
4. Log in or create a new account. You will need to provide your name and birth date, then click “Continue.”
5. Provide your address and billing information. You can select regular shipping or expedited shipping for an additional fee.
