Wrestling is one of the most popular sports in America, and its popularity is exploding all over the world! There are two main types of wrestling: "Real" wrestling, meaning the old school Grecco-Roman style, and the WWE, which is a league made up of wrestlers who are purely there for entertainment. Like a movie, every match is scripted. Both kinds are great to watch. Here are some ways to see both kinds of wrestling matches!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Surf the Web. If you're looking for the entertainment variety, check out the WWE Web site. There you'll find a list of all of their appearances. If you are looking for the collegiate or Olympic style, go to your favorite search engine and plug in your local college name and wrestling schedule. You should get a list of results including their schedule.
Step2
Buy tickets. With the Web as progressive as it is today, you can buy tickets to both kind of wrestling online today. Ticketmaster, stubhub or eBay are great places to look for the WWE, while the college Web site is a great place to buy tickets to a Grecco-Roman style of wrestling game or match!
Step3
Buy pay per view! While most WWE events are on cable, you can buy special games or matches through pay per view! Simply contact your cable provider or check the pay per view option through your DVR box.
Step4
Rent DVDs and videos. Both Grecco-Roman wrestling and WWE have countless videos that can be rented at most video stores. Also, if your friends are into the same thing, borrow from them. Swapping will save you money!
Step5
Go to the event! There is nothing like witnessing the action-packed bone crunching live. Take the time to go to a wrestling match or game and see it up close. It will be well worth it!
Step6
Download video. This can be done via the Web. Make sure you properly pay for the video to avoid rights issues as most of these videos are copyrighted. This is a great option because you can see a wrestling game or match at all hours of the night!

Tips & Warnings

  • Get a group together to split pay per view! Have a bunch of friends over to view the game or match and split the costs. It's a great way to have a cost-effective party!
