How to Choose Drinks to Bring to a Stock the Bar Party

A Stock the Bar Party is a great wedding shower theme for a couple that loves to entertain. The party planners create games that go along with the theme and guests are expected to bring items that the couple can use in their bar. However, if you have never attended a Stock the Bar Party, you may be unsure of what drinks to bring.

Instructions

1. Know the couple's tastes. If you happen to know that the groom loves merlot, bring a bottle of that.

2. Bring drinks based on the party's theme. If the couple is having a margarita-themed Stock the Bar Party, bring along a bottle of tequila or a bucket of frozen margarita mix.

3. Give mixers to go along with the alcohol. Many of the guests will bring alcohol without the non-alcoholic drinks needed to make mixers.

4. Take a bottle of champagne. There are sure to be a lot of toasts during the party and the couple will appreciate you bringing along a bottle that they can use.

5. Buy all the items needed to make a particular drink. For example, bring cranberry juice, triple sec, vodka and martini glasses in order for the couple to be able to mix up some cosmopolitans.

6. Consider bringing unique liquors. Instead of the usual vodka or rum, bring Midori, Chambord or Cointreau.
