Confirmation is an important sacrament within religion. It is the point when you have completed the previous sacraments as a child and you are now officially an adult in the eyes of the church. This is most definitely a celebratory time and a party with family and friends is a great idea. Here are a few tips on how to use a confirmation party ecard!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Choose the date and time. Before you can think about invites, you have to lock down the date, time and location. Make sure to plan to have the party in a place that is comfortable enough for everyone you want to invite. There's nothing worse than being cramped.
Step2
Gather email addresses. Make a list of everyone you want to invite to the confirmation party. Then double check in your email address book that you have everyone's email address. If not, pick up the phone and give them a ring and get the proper information.
Step3
Visit an ecard site. Bluemountain.com, ecards100.com and ecardsaddict.com, are all great sites that will allow you to create your own free ecard. You may have to sign up for an account, but this only takes a few moments, and is worth the time, as the next time you need to send out an ecard, the addresses to your friends and family will already be on file! Make sure the date, time and location are correct. Usually there is an RSVP feature. This is always a good idea so that you can get an accurate head count when planning. Follow the instructions as each site is a bit different. Essentially you will pick a card template and then fill in the pertinent information discussed above. When you are happy with your free confirmation ecard, hit send!
Step4
Follow up! A couple of days before the party, send a reminder to friends and family. This is a good way to lock down the head count before the big day! Congratulations, you have learned how to use a free ecard online.

Tips & Warnings

  • Combine the party. If several friends are getting confirmed, combine the party. This will gather more friends and family and cut down on costs since each family can be responsible for different dishes or drinks. Not to mention it's probably more fun for the kids too.
  • Be sure to have people check their "junk mail." Sometimes invites will get placed in there accidentally. If someone has not responded, ring them up to make sure they received it!
