Candle parties are a great excuse for friends to get together and socialize. Entice your guests to come with a wonderful array of party foods. Whether you prepare the food yourself or purchase ready-made food, this will be an important factor in having guests linger at the party and in result, buy more candles.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Menu
  • Pre-made food
  • Serving dishes
  • Plastic ware
  • Paper goods

Step1
Determine if there are any guests with special dietary needs. Plan to serve some foods that will be accommodating for these guests.
Step2
Decide whether you will buy premade foods or prepare the food yourself. Purchase the ingredients and pre-made foods.
Step3
Serve a variety of food. Plan a menu that will include both healthy food and desserts.
Step4
Make a refreshing punch for the beverage. Plan to make the punch ahead of time. Add any ice cream or fresh garnishes just before serving.
Step5
Prepare foods that can be refrigerated. Some foods are good up to two days in advance. Do not put dressings, frosting or other garnishes on the food until the day of the party.
Step6
Serve the food on attractive dishes. Pull out the beautiful serving platters, trays and bowls. Take advantage of the opportunity to use these great but infrequently used pieces.
Step7
Save yourself a headache, and serve the food using paper and plastic ware. Purchase coordinating products at party supply stores.
