Instead of waiting for someone to invite you, take the initiative and plan a girls’ night out. A girls’ night out event is practical for every age, and every possible combination of relationships. Although the title suggests an evening event, do not limit yourself to nighttime. You can plan to enjoy lunch, brunch, an afternoon movie or a shopping spree. Just plan and have fun.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Choose the person(s) with whom you want to enjoy your night out. It may be your daughter, your mother-in-law or several friends.
Step2
Choose a specific calendar day, date and time.
Step3
Brainstorm a list of possible activities.
Step4
List excluded attendees (boyfriends, dads, etc.) in your invitation.
Step5
Choose who should drive based on vehicles and number of persons attending. Choose the designated driver, or decide if several girls meet at one location.
Step6
Decide whether this is a one-time event or an ongoing event. If ongoing, decide on frequency: Once a week, once a month or once a year.
Step7
Contact your choice invitees, and communicate your plans. Revise as necessary, and enjoy your night out.
