Holding a pampering mom baby shower is a delightful treat for the mother-to-be. This baby shower is a great idea for the mother who already has all of the “baby basics," but her friends would love to throw her a baby shower to celebrate the new arrival. The shower can also pamper the guests, with spa treatments for everyone. This is a great shower theme to allow everyone, especially the mother, to relax and unwind.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Invitations
  • Balloons
  • Flowers
  • Spa professionals or at home treatments
  • Photo album
  • Camera
  1. Step 1

Set the guest list and arrange a date for the pampering mom baby shower. Once you have these two decisions made, then you can find a location for the baby shower.

  2. Step 2

Find a great location for the baby shower. If you are giving everyone spa treatments, the location could be a local day spa or manicure salon.

  3. Step 3

Select invitations that suit your pampering mom theme. Invitations with beautiful women on them, especially mothers with their children, are an elegant choice. Blank cards can also give you more freedom to choose other images for creating your own invitations.

  4. Step 4

Confirm your appointments with spa professionals for the treatments for your guests. Also confirm that guests are coming so the spa can be prepared.

  5. Step 5

Bring balloons or flowers to decorate with to the spa. Decorate the mother’s chair where she will be seated extra special.

  6. Step 6

Keep food and drinks separate from spa treatments. Ideally foods are “finger foods” and can be easily picked up with a fresh manicure.

  7. Step 7

Invite everyone to have a good time and relax. Take lots of pictures of this special event and make a special album of the photos for the mother-to-be.

Tips & Warnings
  • A pampering mom baby shower can be done at home. Organize treatments and consider hiring a professional to give treatments to everyone in your home.
  • Select one or two types of treatments that everyone can enjoy, from facials, manicures, massages or energy healing. It is nice to give your guests a bit of a choice.
  • Give the mother special treatments and care. A longer massage or a pedicure and a manicure would be appropriate.
  • Make sure that whatever treatment you select is approved for pregnant women. Some types of massage are not safe for pregnant women.
