Instructions

    • 1

Put your belt on, using the pant loops and note how many holes you will need to add to the belt. If you need to add more than two holes, it is probably best to purchase a new belt.

    • 2

Remove your belt and flip over to the back side.

    • 3

Measure the distance between the holes. Different belts will measure different lengths.

    • 4

Mark the next hole on the back of the belt, using the measurements you took, with a marker or pen.

    • 5

Choose the correct size leather hole punch and center the punch over the pen mark. Make sure there is a protective mat under the belt so you don't damage the surface.

    • 6

Hammer the leather punch firmly until the leather is pierced cleanly through.

    • 7

Wipe away any leather bits and rub a small amount of leather conditioner in the new hole.

    • 8

      Add another hole if necessary.

    • 9

Try the belt on and see if it fits correctly.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also use a soldering iron to punch a hole through the belt.
