Activate your TiVo menu by pressing the TiVo button at the top of your TiVo remote.

  • The fast forward and rewind buttons on either side of the pause button can be pressed multiple times in order to increase the speed of fast forwarding or rewinding.
  • The pause button can be used at anytime. Even during live TV watching, TiVo will simply begin recording your show until you press play.
  • If you catch something at the moment it begins to play you can simply press the record button directly above the play button.
  • TiVo uses a hard drive to record programming and if the hard drive fills up, it will begin deleting the oldest recorded shows.
