1
Purchase items from a mailing and shipping store such as Kinko's, UPS or even the post office. Most of these stores also carry plastic shipping boxes and crates, plastic envelope mailers and plastic shipping tubes. Buy plastic strapping tape to secure the packaging material around fragile objects and to seal shipping crates and boxes.
-
2
Use an appropriately-sized container so there's ample space to allow room for plastic packaging material. Don't use a container that is too large as it will allow fragile objects to shift.

3
Wrap individual objects in several thicknesses of bubble wrap. Be sure the bubbles are toward the item. Secure with plastic strapping tape. Use air-encapsulated plastic pillows between bubble wrapped items to further cushion and keep them from moving around in the box. Plastic foam peanuts can be use to finish filling the box.

4
Shake the box gently to allow peanuts to fill in all air spaces and assure items in the box do not shift and move around. Close box and firmly secure with several strips of plastic strapping or mailing tape. To further strengthen the box, apply clear packaging tape to all the seams.

5
Affix the address label and a label that indicates the contents are fragile. hen put clear plastic tape over the labels to protect them against the elements. Now your package is ready to be safely shipped.
