Step1
Search the Web to find cheat codes. Type in “gameboy advanced cheat codes” on a search engine and pick a Web site to look for the cheat code. You could also just type in the name of the game in the search engine along with the word "cheats" or "cheat codes" added at the end. For example, “kingdom hearts: chain of memories cheats”.

Check a forum for Gameboy Advance cheat codes and ask for help there.

Read guide books. These are helpful for getting you through games. They give you cheats, hints and even walkthroughs for every level in the game. So if you don’t have access to the Internet, don’t worry. The guide books have more information about the game and are usually easier to understand.

Watch your television for another resource for cheat codes. The G4 channel is helpful. Their show called “Cheat!” is 30 minutes of nothing but cheat codes. It might take a while for you to get the game that you want, but you can also request cheats for specific games on their Web site. You should look up your game on their “Cheat!” home page called the "Cheat Sheet" before you send your request, in case the cheat you’re searching for is already there.

Ask friends that know anything about video games to share information that will build your cheat code repertoire.
