Much like their bachelor party counterparts, strippers have become a common feature of bachelorette parties. Of course, bachelorette parties typically have male strippers as opposed to female strippers. Strippers ratchet up the excitement of a bachelorette party and can be the highlight of the night.

Things You'll Need:

  • Lots of dollar bills

    Find a Male Stripper

  1. Step 1

Ask around to other friends who have thrown bachelorette parties for recommendations. Be sure to ask what they paid, as most strippers will negotiate.

  2. Step 2

Consult a stripper service. Stripper services are middlemen for strippers. You might have to pay more because they take a cut, but the risk of getting a shady stripper is slightly reduced.

  3. Step 3

Check out an online stripper directory like the one at Bachelorettepartyfun.com. You can search different states for strippers for hire. This is particularly handy if you are throwing a party out of town.

  4. Hire the Stripper

  5. Step 1

Negotiate a price ahead of time on the phone. You don't have to accept the first fee they propose, you can usually get better. Tell them you are shopping around for the best deal. Remember, they are also getting tips.

  6. Step 2

Get a picture of the stripper before you hire him. This is the best way to avoid a nasty surprise when you open the door. Remember, however, that these pictures are usually better than the real thing, so be discriminating.

  7. Step 3

Get a contract in writing. The adult entertainment industry is not known for its reliability, so a contract is all you will have to protect any deposit you have to pay should the stripper fail to show up or show up late.

Tips & Warnings
  • Get a stack of $1 bills from the bank for guests. You can either give these out as favors or let guests buy them from you.
  • Point out the guest of honor to the stripper before the show or show him a picture if he is a surprise. The bride should be the center of attention.
  • Consider your audience. If you have young or very old people at your party, strippers might be inappropriate.
  • Consider if the bride will like a strip show. Not everyone gets as much enjoyment from adult entertainment as some do.
  • Lay down ground rules in advance. If you don't want to see it all or don't want the guests to be touched, tell the stripper in advance. Don't leave anything up to him.
  • Don't pay the entire fee upfront. This is a surefire way to have a no-show. Never pay more than half what you owe before the show.
