When you throw a casino night party, you want the exhilaration building from the moment your guests open their invitations. With casino party themes as varied as disco, tropical and western, your invitations can prepare your guests for the fun to come. And now, you don't have to pick the old standbys; your imagination is the only limit.

Get the Perfect Casino Night Invitation

Step1
Choose one or more of the many casino themed invitations from Evite, the popular online invitation company (see Resources below). You personalize the invitations and send them free of charge by email to your guests.
Step2
Design your own invitations at iprint.com, an online stationary store (see Resources below). You choose the colors, fonts, paper and can use their graphics or upload your own. They will mail you the finished product, including envelopes.
Step3
Pick unconventional items and use them as invitations, such as personalized gambling chips or martini glasses with your invitation printed on the side. Remember that some of these will require additional packaging and postage requirements.
Step4
Select an invitation that follows the theme of the casino night party or one that uses bold, traditional colors to reflect an upscale atmosphere. Invitations need not be casino themed.
Step5
Create and print your own invitations on your home computer. You can use your internal clip art or art found on the Internet to give your invitations a touch of personality.
Step6
Go the old-fashioned route and hand write invitations. Find a friend who is good at calligraphy and have them print the invitations on good linen paper. This is a great idea if you are having a southern-themed or formal casino night party.
Step7
Save postage and get the true casino spirit by using postcards from Las Vegas hotels and sites. You can cut down on the writing by printing out labels with the invitation information and sticking them on the message area.
Step8
Consider your audience. Don't pick racy invitations if you may have children or sensitive individuals on your mailing list.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are sending out Internet invitations only, make sure that your invited guests regularly check their email accounts or you may end up with sore friends who did not receive their invitations.
  • Give yourself a few extra weeks if you are custom ordering invitations. You want to make sure you have enough time to review them for potential errors.
