Pick Party Favors in Bulk

Step1
Select age-appropriate favors for your child's beach party. For very small children, lean toward toy themes, including "The Little Mermaid," "Nemo," water tubes and sailboats.
Step2
Plan favors for middle-school aged youngsters. Fill little metal buckets with a decorative shells, beaded jewelry and lip gloss for girls. For a boy's party, give out pails filled with candy and packs of baseball cards.
Step3
Buy fun beach-themed items to give out as favors that celebrate the shore. Pick co-ed items, including little towels, flip flop candles, funky shell or Hawaiian jewelry, blow-up lobsters and sunglasses.
Step4
Go to PlumParty.com to find an abundance of favors you can buy in bulk, from surfboard key chains to tote bags.

Make a Keepsake Beach Party Favor

Step1
Make sand dollar ornament favors. This type of gift is especially appropriate if the beach party is meant to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Purchase sand dollar shells at PlumParty.com or a craft store.
Step2
Loop a piece of twine (or other sturdy string) and glue the bottom edges to the back of the sand dollar. Thin, colored ribbon also works well as a handle for your ornament. Summery colors like light blue or yellow work very well. Adhere the handle to the shell using a hot glue gun or a semi-bond craft glue.
Step3
Write out the date and the person's name on the sand dollar using a container of squeezable paint. Work with Scribbles dimensional fabric paint, available at Michaels.com. Feel free to write your own saying on the shell or add accents of dots.

Tips & Warnings

  • Choose a favor that symbolizes the special theme of your party. Create your own music CD of songs played at the party and put them in labeled jewel cases for guests.
