5
Make sand dollar ornament favors. This type of gift is especially appropriate if the beach party is meant to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Purchase sand dollar shells at PlumParty.com or a craft store.

Loop a piece of twine (or other sturdy string) and glue the bottom edges to the back of the sand dollar. Thin, colored ribbon also works well as a handle for your ornament. Summery colors like light blue or yellow work very well. Adhere the handle to the shell using a hot glue gun or a semi-bond craft glue.

Write out the date and the person's name on the sand dollar using a container of squeezable paint. Work with Scribbles dimensional fabric paint, available at Michaels.com. Feel free to write your own saying on the shell or add accents of dots.
