Frat parties are even more fun when entertainment is provided. Depending upon what your friends like, you can book entertainers for your party within a range of prices. Some entertainers charge by the hour, while others have a set time frame and fee for work.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Book Entertainment for a Frat Party

Step1
Ask a party planner to do it for you. If it's a major event and your fraternity has the funds for a party planner, hiring one can make life much easier.
Step2
Book a disc jockey. Look for a student DJ who will be up to par when it comes to knowing the latest hits and newest remixes of popular songs.
Step3
Hire dancers. If it's guys only, you can choose exotic dancers, otherwise pick belly dancers or modern dancers. There should be lots of available talent right on campus.
Step4
Give magicians a try. Magicians are a nice accent to formal sit-down dinners where your sister sorority is on the guest list.
Step5
Opt for acrobats or contortionists. Many larger college campuses have their own circuses, as is the case with Florida State University. Students in the circus may be available for private parties like a frat party.
Step6
Talk to the campus theater department. You could hire actors to host a murder mystery dinner at your frat house or some other venue.
Step7
Simplify. Most college students are happy with a keg, plenty of booze and silly drinking games. You can designate the party B.Y.O.B. or "Bring Your Own Booze" to keep costs down to a minimum.

Secure Entertainment for Your Frat Party

Step1
Get competitive rates. Students looking to make extra cash are possibly the most desirable option. Otherwise, look for competing businesses and try to get the best price.
Step2
Book entertainment with a specific time frame in mind. For instance, at a large casual party, be sure to book a DJ for the entire night. If you've hired a magician for a dinner party, be sure to give guests time to enjoy dinner conversation without the distraction of the magician.
Step3
Keep a Rolodex of entertainers you've used. For future parties, it will be much easier to book popular entertainers if you keep their information handy.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you're hosting a frat party on any major holiday or school event, book in advance to ensure entertainment will be available.
