Start at the Shasta Lake Visitors Information Center located in Mountain Gate, California just off Interstate 5. Pick up maps and brochures for the Shasta Lake area.
Step2
Drive south on Interstate 5 to the State Route 151/Shasta Dam Boulevard exit. Merge onto Route 151 heading west.
Step3
Pass the Shasta Dam Boulevard and Lake Boulevard intersection and continue west to the Vista Point. Stop at Vista Point to take pictures of the "Three Shasta's", including Mt. Shasta in the distance, Shasta Lake and Shasta Dam.
