Dressing for a purse party requires just a little thought. It is a low-key social event, but you'll still want to look good. Comfortable, office casual clothes are the way to go for this shopping event.

1. Save your sweats for home. Lounge wear is definitely inappropriate for this event. Dress in clothing that is flattering and shows that you care about yourself.
2. Wear nice jeans, casual slacks or a cute skirt. Do not wear jeans that have holes in them. Wear something with a comfortable waist band. You will be sitting and moving around. You will also be served snacks, so leave some room in your pants for food.
3. Wear a comfortable and cute shirt. Wear a nicer shirt if you are wearing jeans. Wear a more casual shirt if you are wearing slacks or a skirt. The key is to dress nicely without appearing stuffy or out of place. Avoid t-shirts and sweatshirts.
4. Wear stockings or socks that are hole free. Wear socks that you will not be embarrassed to have others see if you are requested to remove your shoes. If you are barefoot, make sure that your toes are not unsightly. Touch up or remove old polish.
5. Wear an outfit that you are looking to accessorize. Bring or wear an outfit that you need a purse to match. There is no better way to pair a great match than when both purse and clothing are present.
