How to Choose Drinks for a Jewelry Party

A jewelry party can be a fun way to make new friends, get together with old friends and perhaps make a little extra money. A drink is going to keep your guests refreshed and ready to create more bangles, necklaces and earrings.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Decide on the number of guests, so you will know how much drink you will need.
Step2
Determine whether the guests drink alcohol, coffee, or other options. Some people don't drink alcohol, while others avoid caffeine. Keep these options in mind when you choose soft drinks and cocktails. You don't want to leave people thirsty for more than your jewelry.
Step3
Decide on a theme for your jewelry party. A gypsy theme with lots of bangles and a mysterious punch could be just as much fun as a Tiffany's theme with stylish martinis and faux pearls.
Step4
Choose a drink that will refresh your guests. Making jewelry is time consuming and you want your guests to stay around, so don’t let thirst drive them away.
Step5
Determine a budget for the night. There are several low cost beverage alternatives that could be served in a punch bowl or prepared in a serving pitcher.
Step6
Decide whether you have the space for your drink selection. A punch bowl on the table takes up a lot more work space than an ice chest with sodas on the floor.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't forget to keep lots of straws on hand to free up hands for making jewelry.
  • Finally, don't forget that it is just as much about the delivery of a drink as what is in the glass. Have fun!
