Jewelry adds the finishing touch to every outfit. Finding jewelry is an easy task, as it is widely available almost everywhere that you go. With a little know how, finding earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings will become second nature. Pocketbooks beware!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Host a jewelry party. Jewelry parties can be held for costume jewelry, make-your-own jewelry or high-end designer jewelry. A bit of research on the Internet will produce a mountain of jewelry representatives that would be happy to help you.

  2. Step 2

Shop at online auctions. Many people sell retro style costume jewelry, antique jewelry and precious stones at Internet auctions. Buy only from highly rated sellers.

  3. Step 3

Look at the local one-stop-shop stores. Many of these chain stores carry trendy jewelry that is inexpensive. The only downfall to purchasing jewelry from these stores is that the jewelry is usually mass-produced.

  4. Step 4

Search flea markets and swap meets. There is no telling what will be available at either of these. While you may have to spend some time searching, you are sure to find unique pieces at rummage sales.

  5. Step 5

Shop at a jewelry store. If you are looking for a classic jewelry piece that will be in style for years to come, a traditional jewelry store is the place to find it. Diamond earrings, necklaces and tennis bracelets will be priceless for life.

  6. Step 6

Shop at the mall. Most malls have several chain stores that carry just cheap and trendy jewelry. They will not be classic and timeless, but they will certainly be fun!

Tips & Warnings
  • Bring the item of clothing with you when you are shopping for a particular accessory.
  • Costume jewelry is an inexpensive way to get the latest look for a small price.
  • Do not purchase jewelry from online auctioneers that have poor ratings.
  • Have jewelry appraised by an independent appraiser when you purchase precious jewelry online.
