Jewelry, jewelry and more jewelry. What more could a girl want? Making jewelry is about as much fun as buying it. And inviting friends over to make jewelry is even more fun. Choosing a location for a jewelry party needs careful attention to comfort, lighting and workspace. With the success of a great craft party at stake, you don't want to lose such a precious gem.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Prepare a guest list and determine how many guests to invite to the party. Try to make a good guess of how many people will be attending.

  2. Step 2

Determine the ambiance you want. You may choose a drawing room environment, working from comfortable chairs and sofas, or you may prefer a workroom atmosphere, using a large dining room table and lots of lighting. The ambiance will help determine if you have the location right in your own comfy home.

  3. Step 3

Jewelry making involves lots of tiny pieces of precious gems that you won't want to lose, so consider how you will get all the supplies to the location. A jewelry party can be held almost anywhere, but a home is more convenient because the guests come to you and you don't have far to move the supplies.

  4. Step 4

Brainstorm a few location options. Don't forget you will need lots of light to assemble jewelry in the evening hours.

  5. Step 5

Decide whether a confined space is necessary so people don't wander off too far and lose beads. Keeping the jewelry artists together is more convenient when sharing limited supplies.

  6. Step 6

Finalize your choice of location and invite your guests. Enjoy preparing for your party-then have fun!
