Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Decide how big you would like the party to be. You may want to have a lot of people stop by for a little while or a smaller group for a longer time.
Step2
Think about where the party is going to be held. Check and see how many people the location can comfortably hold.
Step3
Figure out how much it is going to cost to have the party. See if the cost changes your mind about the number of people you want to invite.
Step4
Make a list of people you would like to have attend the party. Work on the list at more than one sitting so you don't forget anyone.
Step5
Check with your child making his First Communion about whom you are inviting and what type of party it will be.
Step6
Send invitations. Include time, place, date and the length of the party.
Step7
Give plenty of notice, especially if you are inviting people from out of town. Let out of town guests know the date as soon as possible. You can send them a formal invitation with details later.
